We are less than one month from the New Bloomfield Fireman's Carnival!
We would ask each of you to share this page as this is the Volunteer Fire Company's largest fundraiser of the year!

The carnival is July 1-5 with fireworks on July 4 at 10:30 p.m. Each night you will find food, games, entertainment, and rides for kids of all ages.

On Thursday May 29th, Abby Reisinger, a past resident of New Bloomfield, was pinned during her graduation ceremony by NBFD Past Chief Mitch Robb.

Abby went through 17 weeks of rigorous fire training at the Grand Rapids Fire Academy starting in February of this year. She now starts 9 weeks of EMT training. After that she will hit the streets!! The Grand Rapid fire department has 234 firefighters ... (Full Story & Photos)

Tonight we had a battery-powered rescue tool demo from Fire and Rescue Products. Members then had the chance to see and use the Amkus battery hydraulic tools. Our own hydraulic rescue tools were also used to see the differences between the two.
