The American 250th Celebration Parade / Fireworks Are Getting Set Up
July 04
Rescue 8 (new ) and its crew traveled to Landisburg to take part in the American 250th Celebration Parade on July 4th. The event was sponsored by the Landisburg, Ickesburg Lions Club, and Loysville Community Center. The parade featured numerous units and walking groups, making it a well-attended community gathering.

Today is the day. Fireworks tonight, July 4 at 10:30. We will once again have some of the
largest, loudest, and brightest shells ever put off in New Bloomfield. Fireworks display is
sponsored by Biezad Trucking.
Please consider making a donation to the fireworks. All donations will go toward next years
fireworks show.

4th Night Of Carnival / Wing Night After Carnival
July 03
The heat continues into the fourth night of the carnival, but people are still coming out to enjoy the carnival.
Friday night after the carnival, the traditional Wing Night serves as a gathering for everyone who has helped with the carnival. Volunteers are invited to stay and enjoy wings and other foods together. This is just a small token of appreciation for everyone's hard work.

We welcome the Fuller Family Singers (Gospel with a Bluegrass flare), taking the stage
from 7-10. Tonight's band is sponsored by, WSL Incorporated
Ride all night armbands will be $25, ride tickets also available, rides open at 6.
Food and games open as soon as the volunteers get home from work.

Three Down Two To Go

The third night of the carnival was marked by high temperatures until sunset. Despite the heat, attendees were able to enjoy the carnival and children appeared unfazed by the warm weather as they ran around and enjoyed the rides.
