Lights Camera Action, Its Carnival Time

June 29

Tonight, members completed a few minor tasks on the to-do list, making for a relatively easy evening. This period of calm comes ahead of what will be a busy week.

Forecasts indicate a hot week ahead, but temperatures have climbed higher in the past. During the 2012 carnival, for example, temperatures reached 91,99,95,99, and even 100 degrees that year.

have expanded our fireworks show over the past few years!
Our display includes some of the largest, highest, and brightest shows around!

Big Tents And Rides Are UP

June 28

Crews spent Sunday setting up the large tents and moving stands and appliances into place. With the carnival just two days away, tables and chairs have been distributed to the fire company stands, signs are positioned, and trash cans are ready throughout the grounds.

No Caption Wednesday Night Training / Station Work

June 25

Regular Wednesday training resumed after two evenings of carnival setup. Members returned to the acquired house to maximize training before the scheduled burn class. Crews practiced advancing charged hose lines and deploying ladders. New driver trainees also had the chance to gain valuable pump time.
