Brush 8 was summoned to fill the Dunk Tank for the VFW family picnic Saturday. The dunk tank is owned by the New Bloomfield Jr firefighters. Its great to have two organizations working together when possible with events, so there isn't any cost to each other.... (Full Story & Photos)

Rescue 8 along with EMS 89-3 were dispatched for a vehicle accident in the area of Spring and Jericho Roads. Units arrived to find 1 log truck and 1 vehicle from a rear end collision, with the occupants out. Fire members checked on hazards, while EMS checked out occupants, with all being sign offs. NBFD Fire Police controlled traffic.

This evening, members from Station 7, 8 and 10 had training together on water supply operation out at Holman Lake. New and older members had the opportunity to learn or refresh on different jobs.

Engine 8 was set up to draft water out of the lake to fill tankers. Tankers 10, 10-1, 8 and 7 went to a dump site and dumped their water into a fold a tank. Engine 10 then drafted and supplied Truck 10 ... (Full Story & Photos)

Members were just getting back to Station 8 from Ickesburg when the tones dropped for a reported house fire in our 1st due area. Units from Co 12 were also dispatched on this 1st alarm.

The Ickesburg area was the bullseye for a storm cell that seemed to stop right over them. While New Bloomfield only received an inch of rain from this storm, Company 3's first due area had reports of over 7 inches in some places.
