Trainees and current drivers spent additional time operating the Tanker, practicing drafting water through the rear intake from a portable fold-a-tank. Engine 8 was also utilized to draft water from the pond, supplying water to the new Rescue, which then pumped and refilled the fold-a-tank for the Tanker.

Rescue 8, EMS 89, and Medic 1 responded to a vehicle accident just south of the firehouse. Emergency crews arrived to find several parked cars that had been struck by a vehicle entering town after missing the turn. The driver remained inside the vehicle but was not trapped.
