Engine 8 along with Tanker 6 from Marysville were dispatched to transfer to Station 8 in Thomsontown as they worked a commercial building fire. The temperature continued to drop and rigs started to freeze up after hours on scene. At 23:48, Engine 8 was dispatched to scene to let units return to thaw out. Engine 8 drafted out of fold a tanks and supplied tower 15 for several hours.

Engine 8 was dispatched to transfer to Station 3, and while in route, Chief 3 requested the engine to the scene. The engine crew assisted with overhaul and extinguishing hot spots with multiple buildings being involved.

Rescue 8 and EMS 89 were dispatched for a vehicle accident at 7615 Spring Rd. Units arrived on scene to find the drivers out of the both vehicles with one lane blocked. EMS checked out occupants and had sign off with no injuries, while Rescue 8's crew checked for hazards.
