New Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Company Station 8, June 15
DONATIONS The fire company is looking for cakes or baked goods to be chanced off at the cake wheel each night. Cakes are appreciated all nights, especially July 4. If you are interested in making or donating anything it may be dropped off at the carnival grounds or the old firehouse basement (23 West High Street) accessible through the double doors in the alley. Vehicle Accident / 20 W. Main St., New Bloomfield Borough
June 13
6-13-26 @ 11:55 Rescue 8 responded to a vehicle accident initially reported with no injuries. Upon arrival, crews found the drivers had exited both vehicles on their own.
Chief 8-2 requested EMS assistance to evaluate one individual, who was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. The other driver was also evaluated and declined further treatment.

Wednesday Evening Training / Ladders
June 10
On Wednesday evening, members participated in a training at the acquired house provided by PPL. Crews used ladders from both the Engine and the Tanker to practice a variety of scenarios.

The NBFD is actively seeking new members. There are roles available for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Anyone interested is encouraged to visit the Station to pick up an application or speak with a member for more information.

Vehicle Accident / 505 Keystone Way, Centre Twp.
June 04
6-4-26 @ 03:11 Rescue 8 and EMS 89-1 responded to a vehicle accident involving a utility pole with wires down. Upon arrival, crews found the driver already out of the vehicle and a utility pole that had been sheared.
