Vehicle Accident With School Bus / 7807 Spring Rd, Carroll Twp.

Company 8 and Rescue 12 along with EMS units 89, 109, 129-2, 49, 29 and Perry Medic 1 were dispatched for an accident box involving a bus. Units from NBFD arrived to find a van had rear ended a school bus with three students on board. New Bloomfield EMS with Medic 1 checked out all persons involved, while fire personnel checked for any hazards. Chief 8 placed Rescue 12 in service ... (Full Story & Photos)

Garage Fire / 938 Clouser Hollow Rd, Centre Twp
March 19
3-19-25 @ 20:56 As some members were still at station in pump class, the County hit the tones for a garage fire in NBFD 1st due area. Company 8 along with units from Landisburg and Newport fire companies went responding. Units arrived from NBFD and Chief 8-3 held this box to New Bloomfield, as a small fire was in the garage. One 1.75 handline was pulled to extinguished this fire.

Wednesday Night Training / Pump I State Class
March 19
This evening 6 members started a 16 hour pump I class. There are current drivers taking this class as a refresher, and some new drivers who need this class to become a driver.

Wednesday Night Training / Maintenance And Dodgeball
March 05
The 1st Wednesday of every month members go over a check list of all equipment. Power equipment is ran, and gas and oil checked.
