Company 8 was dispatched with other units from Perry County assisting Landisburg Fire Co on this 1st alarm fire. Company 4 arrived to a working log truck on fire extending into a building. Company 4 made a good stop on this fire keeping the damage to the building minimal. Engine 8 picked up Tanker 4's five inch and was ready to supply water for fire ground operations.

What a day!! Nice weather with a little rain didn't stop everyone from having a good time. Three fire companies ( New Bloomfield, Newport, North East ) working together as a team for the same purpose.
Great crowd, thanks for supporting our raffle.
And a big thanks to all the fire members and our fire company friends. NBFD had 83 workers who gave time to help make this raffle a huge success.

Brush 8 and 2 were dispatched to assist Newport Fire Co with a field fire. Brush 8 pumped off two loads of water on hot spots along with other brush units.

Engine and Tanker 8 were dispatched along with Companies 12, 4, 6 on a 1st alarm daytime box assignment, assisting Shermans Dale Fire Co. Tanker 6 arrived and investigated, and found a fire on the 1st floor. 2 lines were pulled from Tanker 6 as crews made quick work of this fire.
Chief 12 held the box to companies 12,6 as NBFD units were arriving.
