Newport's 100th Anniversary Parade

The grand finale for Newport Fire Co's 100th anniversary week was a fabulous parade with lots of different bands and of course fire apparatus. Perry County fire companies showed up to support Newport as well as out of County rigs. NBFC emptied the station and headed to Newport leaving behind a stand-by crew from Granville Fire Company, Mifflin County. A big thanks to them for covering our area.

NBFD came home with prizes for a1st place with the Hahn and 1st and 2nd with the hand pulled carts. Thanks to all the members who came out to celebrate with Newport.

We tip our helmets to Newport Fire Company. Great job!!
