Engine and Tanker 8 along with other 1st alarm units from Perry County were dispatched to assist Newport Fire Co. with a reported house fire. Chief 10 went on scene reporting a working fire. Engine 8 was given the assignment of setting up a fill site using the hydrant by Giant Foods, while Rescue 8 crew went to the scene and assisted with fire ground operations. Rescue 8 was moved closer to help with lighting later in the call.
