Just before midnight, Perry County 911 hit the tones for reported smoke in a building in NBFD 1st due area. Company 8 along with units from Shermans Dale fire company went responding. Units arrived from NBFD with light smoke in the apartment. As members started to investigate, a small smoldering fire was found in the tanbark and outside rear wall. Chief 8 held this box to New Bloomfield, releasing Company 12.
The outside wall was opened up looking for any extension as all hot spots were extinguished.
Engine, Rescue and Tanker 8 out with 21 members
