| It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of our brother firefighter, Ron Barner, on 3-17-26. Ron was very active and dedicated to NBFD until he moved from the New Bloomfield area.
He joined NBFD in 1978 after moving to New Bloomfield and was active with the fire police and helping with fundraising anywhere he could.
Ron was the Fire Police Captain from 1992 - 2001 and did an outstanding job with managing emergency scenes and getting everyone parked at our carnivals.
