Rescue 8, EMS 89, and Medic 1 responded to a vehicle accident just south of the firehouse. Emergency crews arrived to find several parked cars that had been struck by a vehicle entering town after missing the turn. The driver remained inside the vehicle but was not trapped. Emergency personnel safely removed the driver, who was then assessed and transported by EMS to a local hospital for further evaluation.
One person was in a parked vehicle that was hit. EMS personnel evaluated this individual, who declined additional treatment.
Fire personnel assisted EMS and handled hazards,with Fire Police controlling traffic.
