Station 8 was dispatched with units from Companies 7 and 2 as part of a first alarm assignment to assist Newport Fire Company. Chief 10 arrived at the scene with a working house fire. Rescue 9 and Tanker 5 were also requested to scene.
Engine 8 was assigned to set up a fill site at Holman Lake, while Tanker 8 supplied water to Tanker 10 to support fire ground operations. Tanker 8 provided four loads of water during the incident. Members from Station 8 assisted with fire attack and overhaul at the scene.
Engine 8, Rescue 8, and Tanker 8 responded to the call with a total of 18 members.
