| Wednesday night training once again had members from Company 3 joining us for a joint training. Members went over more haul and lowering systems inside the station before moving outside to the woods.
For the scenario, a rescue mannequin was placed in a tree to simulate a hunter whose tree stand had failed. Crews set up a system that allowed rescue personnel to practice ascending the tree to reach the simulated hunter. They then used rigging techniques to carefully lower the mannequin safely to the ground
Thanks to everyone making this training possible, as well as Lauren and Marv for their valuable assistance again. |
