| It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of our brother firefighter, Dick Groff, on 8-11-25. Dick was a life member and very active until his health no longer permitted him to answer calls. He had 57 years of active service.
Dick wore many hats over the years including: Fire Company Asst. Chief, driver, firemen's relief, and was in charge of the soda for many years at our events. Also Firemen's Club President and Vice President, and bingo chairman. Plus he was on many committees throughout his years. Dick was the ringleader on building the refrigerated cooler 8 trailer, as you will see his name on the side of this trailer.
NBFD would like to offer our condolences to Virginia, and to family and friends. |
