This past weekend, August 21, 22 and 23, Scott traveled to Erie, Pa to compete in the firefighter challenge for the Northeast Regionals. There were 175 firefighters from the U.S. and Canada. Scott was in the following groups: individual, 2 person team, and 4 person team.

Times: Thursday for qualifying his individual time was: 4:14 @ 12th place
Friday 2 man over 50 team/ Scott Kerstetter and Jonathan Fleming / time was: 2:24 @ 2nd place
Friday 4 man over 50 team / Chris Cerci, Michael Smithburger, Jonathan Fleming and Scott Kerstetter / time was: 2:06 @ 2nd place overall. they a also took a 1st place in our region with a state record.
Saturday individual time was: 3:40 @ 7th place

With the Street Fair coming up in September you will see Scott as the fire company event organizer for the firefighter challenge which he has done for the last 6 years. (Will Scott be running this year? Come out and see!!!) Thanks for keeping this event going as its always been a crowd favorite.
