Vehicle Fires Two Days In A Row / Carroll and Centre Twp

8-6-25 @ 16:35 Engine and Tanker 8 were dispatched for a vehicle fire at 7518 Spring Rd, Carroll Twp. Assistant Chief Still from Newport was on scene and dumped a dry chem on a small fire and extinguish before units arrived. NBFD fire police controlled traffic while waiting on a tow truck. Engine and Tanker 8 out with 12 members
8-7-25 @ 11:27 Engine and Tanker 8 were dispatched for a vehicle fire at 3403 Cold Storage Rd, Centre Twp. As NBFD units were responding County advised units that this vehicle will be in a field. NBFD units arrived to find 3 vehicles on fire in a remote junk yard, and had to access this by off road with Brush 8. Chief 8 requested 2 additional brush units bringing in brush 10 and 3. Tanker 8 filled all brush units multiple times to extinguish this fire. Engine, Tanker and Brush 8 out with 10 members
