| This evening, Perry County Stations 3, 4, 7, 8, plus tankers 1, 8 and engine 7 out of Juniata County had training together on water supply operation in the village of Ickesburg. New and older members had the opportunity to learn or refresh on different jobs.
Engine 7 was set up to draft water out of a stream on Boots Hollow Rd to fill tankers. Tankers from PC 3, 4, 7, 8 and JC 1, 8 traveled back to the village and pumped into a 5 inch supply line to engine 3 while they flowed hose lines. This training was using a gated manifold (rural hitch) so 2 tankers would be able be pump to engine 3 without interruptions.
