Transfer, Field Fire, 2 Structure Fires, And Training Kind Of Wednesday

Tanker 8 was dispatched to transfer to Station 3 in the Village, while Co. 3 assisted at a barn fire in Juniata County. No calls were taken during this stand-by.
Tanker 8 out with 5 members.

3445 Valley Rd, Rye Twp. @ 14:52 - Brush 8 was dispatched along with other brush units to assist company 12 with a field fire with round bales of hay also on fire. Brush 8 helped with stopping the fire spread going towards a cornfield and wetting down the bales. Tanker 8 was dispatched later, and placed available soon after dispatch
Brush and Tanker 8 out with 9 members.

201 Cold Storage Rd, Juniata Twp. @ 16:55 - Company 8 was dispatched on this 1st alarm structure fire assisting Newport Fire Co. Units were cancelled enroute. At this time units from NBFD turned around and started to head towards the other house fire in Miller Twp. Newport placed all companies available on the 2nd house fire too.
Rescue, Engine, and Tanker 8 out with 14 members.

Wednesday night training took members out to Holman Lake for some water rescue training. Members ran both boats and did some land base training.

Thanks to all the members who gave time this Wednesday, much appreciated.
