Engine and Tanker 8 were dispatched for a reported chimney fire at 1835 New Bloomfield Rd. Units arrived and found fire in the wall behind the woodstove. Chief 8 then requested an upgrade to the box bringing in Engine 12, Truck 12 , Tankers 12, 2 and 10, Rescue 8, and Truck 2 as RIT. Crews worked together and opened up the wall to extinguish this fire limiting the damage.

Thanks to Ickesburg Engine 3 for standing by in station 8 and helping with getting Engine 8 back in service.
