Assisting Company 10 House Fire / Winding Hill Rd, Juniata Twp.
Engine and Rescue 8 along with other 1st alarm units from Perry County were dispatched to assist Newport Fire Co with a reported house fire. Engine 8 was assigned to set up a fill site at a nearby pond. Members set up with our 500gpm portable pump and cut 8 inches of ice to draft water. Rescue 8 went to the scene and members assisted with fire attack and overhaul. Tanker 8 had a crew at station if needed.
Engine and Rescue 8 out with 15 members.

Vehicle Accident / Paige Hill Rd, Carroll Twp.
Rescue 8 and EMS 89-1 were dispatched for a vehicle accident at 1190 Paige Hill Rd. Units arrived on scene to find the vehicle upside down with driver out, leaving one lane blocked. EMS checked out occupant and had a sign off with no injuries, while Rescue 8's crew checked for hazards.
NBFD Fire Police controlled traffic.
