Rescue 8 and EMS 109 were dispatched to a vehicle accident on West High Street, across from the former firehouse. Upon arrival, crews found the driver had already exited the vehicle.
EMS personnel evaluated the occupant, who declined further treatment. Rescue 8 checked the scene for additional hazards and inspected the damage to the garage.
Rescue 8 responded with a total of 11 personnel.
Structural Burn Class
The second evening of the structural burn training began with a classroom session and a gear check, then moved to the burn house. Students reviewed procedures for the burn, practiced pulling hand lines, and prepared the house for Saturday’s live burn exercise.
